Today we consider what kind of media institution might distribute your thriller film, and why (evaluation question 3). We look at the FDA site, listen to some experts talk on the subject of distribution, research some case studies (such as Shifty and Alice Creed). We note examples of interactivity, including campaigns that have attracted complaints such as Shifty's email advertising campaign: read here.
PREP Explain the function of distribution. Decide on a distributor and justify your choice, referring to other films that they have handled.
Start work on question 5: how you address your audience. You screenshot a current film website then create a 'webpage' for your film. You also screenshot a FaceBook page for a different film and create a FaceBook page for your film. By Monday 5 March.
